In 2018 Gaftek began its own environmental services team built of seasoned 40-hour HAZWOPER certified professionals. Since its inception we have added a new custom built 3000-gallon split pocket vacuum truck, 2 box trucks, a fuel ‘Polishing’ system and more. We’re permitted to transport hazardous and non-hazardous wastes in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont and New York State. With our new equipment and all of the heavy equipment that Gaftek already owns we really do have the capability to do it all. There are no other companies that have environmental experts with full knowledge of UST/AST maintenance and services. In most cases the operators of the trucks and equipment can also fix pumps and tank systems in the same stop.
